Kletnya Local History Museum
About museum
In 1971 M. A. Korobtsov took the initiative to establish a museum, which began as a local history corner at Secondary General Education School No. 2. In 1978 the museum moved to its current building and became a branch of the Bryansk State Local History Museum. The museum's exhibition includes sections devoted to the history of the settlement of Kletnya, the region's nature, ethnography and the Great Patriotic War. Special attention is also paid to the partisan movement in the Bryansk region. In the ethnography section one can also see peasant household items, tools and 19th-century Russian folk clothing.
