\r\nThe history of Kineshma Park is significant and closely tied to the town's past. On June 7, 1609, Kineshma was attacked by invaders, against whom a militia rallied, led by the brave voivode Fyodor Boborykin. In the upper part of the Park there is a memorial marker installed in 1994 at the site of the militia's second battle. Workers from the textile factories also held meetings and May Day gatherings in the pine forest. In 1905 the first party conference took place there. In 1930 a grand park of culture and recreation was opened in the town of Kineshma. In 1969 the park was renamed "Central", and in 1980 it was named for the 35th Anniversary of Victory. From 1972 rides began to appear there, and in 2013 the Park was completely renovated. Today it offers more than 40 rides and various events for children and adults, having become a true center of culture and recreation for the urban audience.
