Art Gallery 'Ozerov House'
About museum
Ozerov House is an architectural monument from the late 18th – early 19th century, built in the Classical style. The project is attributed to the well-known architect Matvey Kazakov, who came to Kolomna by order of Empress Catherine II. The house was named after Alexey Semyonovich Ozerov, its last owner, who was known for his philanthropy. Exhibitions in the house began in 1980. Over the years, more than 800 exhibitions have been held, featuring artists from Kolomna, Moscow, other regions of Russia and abroad. Today the house has 3 exhibition halls with a total area of 350 sq. m, showcasing works of painting, graphic art, sculpture, photography and folk art. There is also a museum-exhibition hall dedicated to Kolomna's honorary citizen Mikhail Abakumov. In the art salon visitors can buy gifts and souvenirs, and in the concert hall they can attend concerts.
