About museum
The K.A. Trunov Local History Museum was established in 1960 for public use. Since 2011 it has been a branch of the Don Historical and Local History Museum of the Trunovsky Municipal District. It presents the history of the Trunovskoye village, as well as materials about the Red Partisan detachment of K.A. Trunov, after whom the museum is named. In 2017 the museum underwent renovation with funds provided by the building owner, the agricultural production cooperative SPK "Kolkhoz Ternovsky". The branch's collections include more than three thousand items. Each year the museum receives between four and six thousand visitors. The branch's staff conduct more than 60 tours and install up to 10 new exhibitions per year. Museum admission is free for all visitors.
