Historical Park “Russia — My History”, Omsk
About museum
The creators of the Historical Park “Russia — My History” call it a “living textbook of history.” This is not just words but reality. Visitors can not only see but also touch the park's exhibits, and interactive books help real historians read and understand Russia's history. Using multimedia screens, touchscreens and 3D reconstructions, the history of our country is presented from ancient times to the present. The park's creators — historians, artists, filmmakers, designers and computer graphics specialists — have done everything to make Russia's history interesting, vivid and objective. The park features permanent multimedia exhibitions, and every month visitors can see a refreshed display in the temporary exhibition hall, where paintings, works on paper and sculptural pieces by Omsk authors, students of the city's and region's art schools and their teachers are shown, along with items from regional museum collections and private collections.
