Interactive museum "Galin Sails"
About museum
On May 5, 2017, the family of Sergey Tokarev, a boat builder, opened the museum. Sergey worked in woodworking for more than 40 years, creating full-size boats and ships as well as models, installations, and depictions of fairy-tale characters. To share his knowledge, Sergey converted his private plot into a museum. A tea house, a shipyard, a log-built pool and a display banner for models were constructed there. The museum houses more than 700 handmade exhibits that visitors can touch, move, and examine up close. Young guests particularly enjoy the "Magic Shed" with small ship models. The grounds are dotted with cheerful installations and host interactive programs involving guests, including cannon firings, scooter rides, and meetings with pirates and Aibolit. You can have an incredible amount of fun at this museum!
