\r\nThe Khvoyninsky Local History Museum has been operating since August 25, 1984. It is a multidisciplinary museum that documents the history and nature of the region. It presents several exhibitions: "Archaeology", "Nature of the Native Land", "Peasant Life in the 19th — early 20th century", "Industry", "History of the Formation of the Railway", "History of Khvoynaya and the Khvoyninsky District", "The District During the Great Patriotic War", "Churches of Our District", "Internationalist Soldiers". In the "Industry" exhibition you can see materials about Koshely, as well as photographs of Dmitry Ivanovich Mendeleev and Alexey Kazemirovich Reichel. In the display case "Pages of History" interesting objects of work and daily life are presented. In the "The District During the Great Patriotic War" exhibition you can see materials about participants of the Great Patriotic War, Heroes of the Soviet Union and of Russia. The Khvoyninsky Local History Museum features numerous exhibitions in which you can see interesting objects and materials about the region's history and nature.
