Dagger scabbard

Dagger scabbard, created in the 19th century in Dagestan. They have an elongated triangular shape with a ball at the end. Near the mouth there is a relief plate with a belt ring. The exterior is decorated with floral—style engraving and grain, while the interior has an elongated oval recess at the top. Profiled carving, embossing, engraving, rolled tape, soldering, ink, wood and silver are used in the manufacture.
