A sketch for a painting from the series "Heroics", created by Nikolai Konstantinovich Roerich in the 1920s and 1930s. The work is done on paper with a pencil. In the center of the drawing is a pond surrounded by low mountains. There are numerous notes scattered on the rocks with a simple pencil — the author marked the colors with them.
