Icon. The Apostle Peter. Set: Deisus row of the iconostasis of the Church of the Resurrection of Lazarus of the Murom Monastery

The icon depicts the Apostle Peter and is included in the set of the deisus row of the iconostasis of the Church of the Resurrection of Lazarus of the Murom Monastery. It was created in the first half of the 16th century. The base is a linden board without dowels, with an ark and a floodplain. The Apostle is depicted in full-length, in a three-quarter turn. In his left hand is an unfolded scroll and keys, on it are Old Testament robes: a chiton, a himation and sandals. The ground is two-tone. There are inscriptions on the icon. The technique of execution is gesso, wood, tempera.
