The sixth part of the collected works of Vissarion Grigorievich Belinsky, including his articles published in the journal Otechestvennye Zapiski in 1842. The book dates back to 1860 and has a semi-leather binding: the covers are made of laminated cardboard and are covered with dark green paper and "marbled", the spine is leather with gold lettering. On the cover there is a stamp of the library of the 1st Sapper battalion and various notes made at different times. Inside the book there are sections with criticism, bibliography, "magazine stuff", theatrical notes and other materials. The text contains underscores and pencil marks.
