The etching. "The island". Set: Graphic series "Zaonezhye"

The etching "Island" from the graphic series "Zaonezhye" was created by Alexander Ivanovich Morozov in 1985. The work depicts an overhead view of an island with two boys lying down, who are examining schools of fish. The surrounding body of water and overhanging dirty green clouds create an atmosphere of privacy. The central part of the leaf is made in a gray-silver color scheme, the water is conveyed by wavy lines grouped in different directions. A perspective is outlined in the upper part of the sheet — woodlands interspersed with water.
