Portrait of the French Revolutionary Jean Paul Marat (1743-1793)
The sculpture is a portrait of Jean Paul Marat, a figure of the Great French Revolution. The work was created in 1925 by the Soviet sculptor M. S. Rukavishnikov. The technique of execution is casting and molding, the material is white gypsum. The work reflects the image of one of the iconic figures of the era of the French Revolution and is an example of the sculptural art of the USSR of the 1920s.
