Käthe Kollwitz. "We Protect the Soviet Union!", 1932

The lithograph "We Protect the Soviet Union!" was created in 1932 by the German artist Käthe Kollwitz.

Käthe Kollwitz (1867–1945) worked in etching, woodcut, lithography and sculpture; her series "War", "Proletariat" and "Death" are well known. She had many ties with the Soviet Union: in 1924 her works were shown in Moscow at the First General Exhibition of German Art, in 1927 she visited Moscow, and in 1932, the year this sheet was made, a solo exhibition of her work took place in the USSR.

The sheet is a lithograph on paper.
