About museum

Museum AZ is one of the most vibrant and rapidly developing private museums in Russia; it opened on May 27, 2015, in the very center of Moscow, not far from Mayakovsky Square. The museum was named after the initials of the brilliant Russian artist Anatoly Zverev, who was and remains one of the most fascinating figures of the second half of the 20th century. The museum was founded by collector and philanthropist Natalia Opaleva and art curator Polina Lobachevskaya. Today Museum AZ does everything to present the artist's legacy and that of his contemporaries as living and relevant.
