About museum
In 2012, the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center opened in the famous Bakhmetevsky Garage building. This masterpiece of Russian avant-garde architecture was transformed into Russia's most high-tech museum. It features a historical exhibition, temporary exhibitions, an avant-garde center, a 4D cinema and a children's center. The permanent exhibition is presented in an interactive format and also includes 12 themed pavilions. Visitors can enjoy panoramic cinemas, audiovisual installations and interactive screens, and participate in public lectures, discussions and conferences. The museum also serves as a tolerance center, hosting events promoting interethnic and interreligious tolerance. The children's center offers educational programs for children of various ages.
