Ethnocultural Center of Beloyarsky
About museum
In September 1998 the town of Beloyarsky welcomed the opening of the Beloyarsky Historical and Local Lore Museum, a municipal cultural institution. The main and auxiliary collections were taken from the funds of the school museum 'Pamyat' (Memory). The Kazym Museum-Park became a structural subdivision of the Beloyarsky Historical and Local Lore Museum. The museum established a permanent exhibition and an exhibition area for organizing temporary exhibitions. Over the years the museum has hosted traveling, chamber, and solo exhibitions of paintings, sculptural modeling, embroidery, and folk art. In 2009 the museum was renamed MAUK 'Beloyarsky Exhibition Hall', and the Kazym Museum-Park became the structural subdivision 'Ethnographic Exhibition Hall in the village of Kazym'. In September 2010 MAUK 'Beloyarsky Exhibition Hall' celebrated the twentieth anniversary of its opening.
