Yauza Environmental Education Center
About museum
The Yauza Eco-Center opened on September 1, 2022, on the grounds of Yauza Park. It is an innovative multimedia space aimed at exploring environmental issues in the modern world.
\r\n
\r\nThe program's goal is to popularize professions of the future in the environmental sector and provide career guidance for students. Each installation, and the entire exhibition as a whole, follows the principle of "learning through entertainment" (edutainment) — an interactive format of presenting information that turns the educational process into a game.
\r\n
\r\nThe eco-center's exhibition is presented in five thematic zones: "Nature," "Human," "City," "Eco-technologies," and "Career Lab." Visitors can learn about 16 professions of the future, such as eco-urbanist, urban farmer, agroecologist, veterinary rehabilitation specialist, eco-dietitian, eco-volunteer, tourism manager, eco-blogger, eco-designer, noise measurement and optimization expert, recycling specialist, territorial sustainable development expert, eco-materials engineer, ecological footprint specialist, alternative energy specialist, and closed-loop systems technician.

\r\nIn addition to tours, the eco-center regularly hosts themed workshops and quests aimed at an in-depth study of ecology — vibrant events that, in a practical format, help each visitor develop useful eco-habits.
