Palace of Culture named after Lensovet
About museum
The building of the Palace of Culture named after Lensovet was founded in 1938. Initially it was called the Palace of Culture of Industrial Cooperation (Promkooperatsiya). It was renamed only in 1960.
The auditorium's capacity was originally planned for 2,400 people. Currently the capacity is 1,838 seats.
Thanks to the auditorium's good technical equipment, the Palace of Culture named after Lensovet hosts events in various formats. These include pop concerts featuring Russian stars and concerts with foreign artists, as well as theatrical performances, spoken-word events, and classical music concerts with well-known ensembles and orchestras.
Various hobby groups and clubs for children and adults also operate on the premises of the Palace of Culture named after Lensovet.
