N. S. Mukhin House-Museum

On June 20, 1990, the House-Museum of N. S. Mukhin was opened in his native village of Olyk'yal. It currently houses 824 exhibits, including 193 items of the main collection. The collection features ethnography, numismatics, folk applied arts, documents and photographs, as well as fiction and popular science books. The museum has three exhibition rooms, one of which presents an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the poet. The first room displays exhibits reflecting the everyday life and culture of the early 20th century. The museum holds holiday programs and has organized a club 'In the Footsteps of the Poet N. S. Mukhin' to preserve and popularize his legacy.
