\r\nIn 2004 the I. P. Morozov House-Museum was opened, a reconstruction of the ancestral home of the Morozov family in the village of Mezhador, Sysolsky District. It is almost the only museum in Russia dedicated to Ivan Pavlovich Morozov (1924–1987), the first secretary of the regional committee of the Communist Party, whose name is associated with the history of the Komi ASSR in the 1960s–1980s. The house-museum is located in a natural park, and the architecture has been recreated according to historical data. The exhibits include interior items that belonged to I. P. Morozov, as well as an exhibition about his life and work. The house-museum is an excellent place to study the history and culture of the Komi ASSR.
