About museum
In the Lyuboshchinsky-Vernadsky House many interesting events take place, so it attracts many visitors. In the summer of 2019 the Lyuboshchinsky-Vernadsky House was opened to visitors after a major renovation, becoming a new cultural venue in Moscow and the main building of the State Museum of the History of Russian Literature named after V. I. Dahl. This upscale apartment house was built in 1912 by M. M. and A. E. Lyuboshchinsky on Zubovsky Boulevard and became a place of residence for Moscow's intelligentsia. Lyuboshchinsky's brother-in-law — academician V. I. Vernadsky — often visited it. The building's central arch was captured in the film "The House I Live In" by film director L. A. Kulidzhanov. The museum hosts temporary exhibitions, author-led tours, lectures, presentations, musical and theatrical performances, creative evenings and activities for children. The "Arka Marka" Center for the Creative Development of Children and Teenagers also operates here.
