The icon sample "Spas Not Made with Hands"

The icon sample "Savior Made with Hands" was made in the second half of the 19th century. The base is white machine—made paper. In the center of the image is the face of Christ on a cloth, falling in folds. Nodes are visible on the sides at the top, diverging to the sides. The face of Christ is depicted frontally: two strands of hair on the left, three on the right, and the beard is marked with short strands. The board is supported by an angel with raised wings, also depicted frontally — only his face is visible. The whole image is enclosed in a round medallion marked with dots, and the halo of Christ is also marked with dots. The technique of execution is an impression followed by ink drawing.
