Family History Center — a branch of the V. D. Polenov Museum‑Reserve
About museum
The Family History Center is a new building of the V. D. Polenov Museum‑Reserve in the Tula Quarter, opened in honor of the 500th anniversary of the Tula Kremlin. The Center is an educational outreach facility designed to introduce the concept of private (family) history into cultural life, attract visitors to explore the history of their ancestors, and transform Tula's cultural landscape. The center will host temporary exhibitions, programs for researching family archives, courses on interviewing relatives, collecting family archives, and fostering relationships. The Center's goal is to show that every family's history deserves attention, and that attention to one's past helps maintain intergenerational ties and add meaning to life.
