It presents materials on Pugachev's Rebellion, Bugulma fairs of the 19th century, documents on the town's history from the 18th to the 20th centuries, and rare household items of Tatars, Mordvins, Chuvash, and Russians. The museum has departments of history and nature, and an exhibition hall. Among the collection of materials on the peasant war of 1773–1775 there are unique exhibits. Lectures, celebrations, exhibitions, and children's activities are held here. At the Bugulma regional museum you can learn about the history of the town and district and see many unique items.
