Arts Square Gallery
About museum
Arts Square Gallery opened in 2017 and is a multifunctional venue for exhibitions, master classes, lectures, concerts, and premiere showings. The gallery houses a wide range of art forms — from folk crafts to antiques, from interior objects to works of jewelry art, from pieces by contemporary artists to recognized masterpieces by the old masters. It hosts temporary projects and also features a permanent exhibition from the personal collection of collector and patron Mikhail Sasonko. Among the artists represented are classics of Soviet art such as Evsey Moiseenko, Isaak Brodsky, Georgy Nissky, Petr Petrovichev, and Boris Uspensky. In addition, the gallery presents the unique art object "Anna Pavlova's Room." The mirrored room of the great ballerina is installed in the same building where she lived in 1909–1910. In the room's interiors visitors can try on pointe shoes and the famous Swan headdress, and take memorable photographs.
