The letter "B". From the publication "A gift to children in memory of 1812" ("Terebenevskaya ABC")

The letter "B" from the publication "A gift to children in memory of 1812" (also known as "Terebenevskaya ABC"), created in 1815 by Ivan Ivanovich Terebenev. The image shows a horse harnessed to a sleigh, in which soldiers in blue uniforms of the early 19th century are sitting. There are traces of destruction all around. In the upper—right corner, the letter "B" is visible, and under the image is the text: "Byda! Hurry up with the Moscow robber, so that you don't get into Davout and Ponyatovsky." The technique of execution is etching, paper on paper with watercolor. The publication was created in St. Petersburg.
