Yaropolets Local History Museum
About museum
Yaropolets is an ancient village in the Moscow region, known since the 12th century. Here you can see two 18th-century architectural monuments — the Goncharov and Chernyshyov estates. Beginning a tour with a visit to the local history museum, visitors learn the village's history from antiquity to the present day. The second hall features an exhibition about the feat of the Kremlin cadets in the Battle for Moscow. The museum also displays furniture from the Pushkin room of the Goncharov estate and from the Chernyshyov estate. All of this makes Yaropolets a wonderful place to visit.
