Yaropolets Local History Museum
About museum
Yaropolets is an ancient village in the Moscow region, known since the 12th century. Here you can see two architectural monuments from the 18th century — the Goncharov and Chernyshev estates. Beginning a tour with a visit to the local history museum, visitors learn the village's history from antiquity to the present day. The second hall features an exhibition about the feat of the Kremlin cadets in the Battle of Moscow. The museum also displays furniture from the Pushkin room of the Goncharov estate and from the Chernyshev estate. All this makes Yaropolets a wonderful place to visit.
