The museum also holds workshops on making folk art items. Arbazh District Local History Museum is a young museum, opened on March 1, 2004, in the building of the former volost administration. The museum presents the nature and history of the Arbazh District, as well as peasant life from the early and mid-20th century, and folk art. The museum's collection consists of more than 2,000 exhibits, including a Putilovets tractor standing on a special pedestal in front of the museum. Each year the museum receives over 4,000 visitors; more than 25 exhibitions are held, along with class hours and museum lessons for schoolchildren, and workshops on making folk art items. Meetings with interesting people are also held at the museum.
