The museum also hosts master classes on making folk art items. The Arbazhsky District Local History Museum is a young museum, opened on March 1, 2004, in the building of the former volost administration. The museum presents the nature and history of the Arbazhsky District, as well as peasant life of the early and mid-20th century and folk art. The museum's collection consists of more than 2,000 exhibits, including a "Putilovets" tractor standing on a special pedestal in front of the museum. The museum receives over 4,000 visitors annually; more than 25 exhibitions are held each year, along with class sessions and museum lessons for schoolchildren, and master classes in making folk art items. Meetings with interesting people are also held at the museum.
