Abaza Historical and Local Lore Museum named after V.V. Andriyashev
О музее
The merchant Kipreev's house, built in 1887, is an authentic landmark of the town of Abaza. The Abaza Local History Museum named after V.V. Andriyashev was opened here; it was awarded the title "Best Municipal Museum of the Republic of Khakassia" in 2010. The museum's exhibitions are dedicated to the history of the town and the Khakassia region from the 4th–3rd centuries BC. On display are arrowheads, knives, bronze and silver brooches, and stone mills. The estate is surrounded by a sturdy brick fence, and in the courtyard there are spacious barns and a stable. Kipreev's house is an excellent place for studying the history of Abaza and for an unforgettable visit.
