Rami Yagafarovich Garipov

Bashkir poet, translator, and editor. He was posthumously awarded the title People's Poet of Bashkortostan (1992). He was posthumously awarded the Salavat Yulaev Republican Prize (1988) with the citation 'For poetic works published in recent years.' Rami Garipov's best-known poem is 'Tugan tel' ('Native Language').
