Konstantin Petrovich Koshukov – local historian, educator, founder of the Tevriz Regional History and Local Lore Museum. He was born in the settlement of Tevriz into a family of first settlers. In 1943 he graduated from the Tevriz school. During the war he worked as a collector in a geological party and in the state security organs. In 1944 he volunteered for the front, despite being exempted from military service for health reasons. He fought on the 2nd Belorussian Front, advancing from rifleman to signalman, and took part in battles in East Prussia, Poland and Germany.
After the war Koshukov graduated from the Faculty of History of the Omsk State Pedagogical Institute. In 1949 he returned to the Tevriz secondary school, where he worked as a history teacher. In 1959 he founded a school museum, which over time turned into a large district history and local lore museum. Its ceremonial opening took place on July 12, 1985, the 200th anniversary of Tevriz. For his numerous merits Koshukov was honored with the title of the first honorary citizen of the Tevriz district, awarded orders and medals, as well as honorary distinctions. Konstantin Petrovich Koshukov passed away on March 10, 2001. In 2012 the Tevriz District Museum was named after K. P. Koshukov.
