Fyodor Osipovich Livchak – a Russian architect, engineer and designer. He came from a family of an inventor and a public figure. In 1904 Livchak graduated from the architectural and construction faculty of the Institute of Civil Engineers in Saint Petersburg. After a short period working as a junior engineer in the Smolensk Governorate, he moved to Simbirsk in the summer of 1906.
In Simbirsk, Livchak worked as an architect for the city administration. From 1906 to 1910 he designed public buildings, tenement houses and schools, and also maintained a private practice. In 1910 he became head of the construction department of the provincial zemstvo. With the outbreak of World War I, he focused on defense construction. Livchak designed several hospitals and a camp for prisoners of war. Fyodor Osipovich Livchak died in Omsk after contracting typhus while repairing a hospital overcrowded with typhus patients.
