The exhibition “Liski and Liskintsy — 1,000 Years on the Frontiers of the Motherland” tells the military history of the region from the 8th–10th centuries to the present. The first floor of the tower relates the story of the Slavic settlement Titchikha (8th–10th centuries), the invasions of the Crimean and Nogai Tatars, the nationwide watch service “Bogatyy Zaton”, the uprisings of Stenka Razin and Kondraty Bulavin, and the Ikorets shipbuilding yard. The second floor is devoted to the history of the 4th Reserve Cavalry Regiment based at Liski station, the Civil War and the Revolution, and the Great Patriotic War (World War II). The third floor covers contemporary military conflicts. The fourth floor of the tower is an observation deck offering a view from above of the city of Liski.
