The main building of the Museum of Fine Arts is located on the bank of the Iset River in the Historical Square — the place where Yekaterinburg began. The museum features collections of Ural cast-iron works, the centerpiece of which is the unique Kasli Pavilion, Ural stone-carving and jewelry art, exhibitions of Russian art from the 18th to the early 20th century and the Soviet period, and also hosts interesting temporary exhibitions.
