Exhibition 'Animals and Birds of the Peninsula'
About exhibition
More than 100 exhibits are presented to visitors. These are taxidermy mounts of animals and birds, the oldest of which were made by the taxidermists of the Natural History Museum in the late 19th–early 20th centuries, while the most recent date to 2021. The display cases with wet specimens of insects, amphibians, and reptiles — inhabitants of the Crimean Peninsula — will also attract interest. In the exhibition complex, representatives of the Crimean fauna are arranged by habitat landscapes; dioramas illustrating the characteristics of the local terrain are used for clarity.
