The exhibition tells the story of the long and substantial career of the People's Poet of Dagestan, Anvar Adzhiev, in the field of journalism. In 1944 he completed journalism courses in Moscow, and in 1958 he became a member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR. He worked on the editorial boards of the republican newspapers Socialist Construction, Lenin's Path and Komsomolets of Dagestan. He published a letter-newspaper titled "Dagestan to Its Front-line Soldiers", which printed letters, articles and new works of Dagestani literature. He finished his journalistic career as editor-in-chief of the literary almanac "Friendship", published in six languages of the republic's peoples. At the exhibition visitors will see photographs capturing scenes from his working days, business trips, as well as articles and publications from periodicals of various years.
