On the first floor there is a corner showcasing mammals and birds that inhabit the territory of the Chuvash Republic. Here you can see taxidermy specimens of animals such as the marsh owl, woodpecker, capercaillie, white hare, moose and others. You will also learn about paleontological finds from the native region. The moose (păshi) is the largest animal of the forests. Wild boars are very strong, fast omnivores. The Eurasian red squirrel is a fairly large rodent of the squirrel family. The owl is a predatory nocturnal bird. The ferret (khor) is a carnivorous mammal belonging to the weasel family. The wolf is a medium- to large-sized predator.
