Exhibition 'Earth's Living Past'
About exhibition
At the exhibition, visitors can see fossilized paleontological remains of ancient mammoths, bison, aurochs, woolly rhinoceroses, and remnants of ancient marine fauna such as ammonites, belemnites, brachiopods, and sponges. Unfortunately, they no longer adorn planet Earth. These exhibits bear witness to a long and diverse history of life. They illustrate the evolution and refinement of the organic world and assist in the study of geological history. The exhibition is based on materials from expeditions organized by the staff of the Museum of Ecology.
