Exhibition «Dovator's Countrymen»

About exhibition

The exhibition «Dovator's Countrymen» will be organized at the Museum of History of the Izobilnensky District. More than 200 fellow countrymen from Izobilny fought in Major General L. Dovator's cavalry corps. The exhibition will feature reproductions of photographs and documents of Dovator's men, the personal belongings of F. T. Gorbunov (a participant in three wars) and I. M. Drobyazin (a participant in the Victory Parade). One section of the exhibition is devoted to commemorating L. Dovator in street names and monuments. The centerpiece will be a scale model of the monument to Dovator's men in the city of Stavropol and a photograph of the monument in Izobilny, both created by N. Sanzharov.
