Exhibition 'Here My Homeland Begins'
About exhibition
The staff of the History and Local Lore Museum invite residents and visitors of the Gulkevichi district to visit the exhibition 'Here My Homeland Begins,' dedicated to the founding of Gulkevichi. By visiting the exhibition you can learn about the beginning of the settlement of the Kuban's left bank after the end of the thirty-year Caucasian War in 1864, as well as about the laying of the single-track Rostov–Vladikavkaz railway in 1875. The display cases feature exhibits that tell about the lives and activities of landowning landlords. The exhibition hall presents a collection of household items related to pottery and blacksmithing from the late 19th–early 20th century from the museum's collections.
