In the sloboda of Graivoron, where merchants from neighboring towns gathered with various goods, there were numerous wooden stalls. Twice a week markets opened, and five times a year large fairs were held that attracted hundreds of people from all the villages not only of the Graivoron uyezd but also from neighboring districts, including Ukrainian ones. The fairground in Graivoron could not accommodate everyone who wanted to attend, so all the adjoining streets and lanes were filled with carts and livestock. To get an idea of the local fair, it is enough to visit the museum's exhibition hall: tableware, tools, clothing, textiles, jewelry — an incomplete list of the items people exchanged in the sloboda. Today these unique objects are preserved in the museum and are available for viewing.
