From the collection of the Museums of the Moscow Kremlin. The exhibition, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Order of Saint Alexander Nevsky and the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, traces the history of Russian awards from the Petrine era to the present. What to expect: you will see rare orders and medals of the Russian Empire, including the Orders of St. Andrew the First-Called, St. George, and St. Vladimir; presentation weapons and precious gifts awarded for military valor; Soviet decorations from the Great Patriotic War, among them the Order 'Victory' of Marshal K. K. Rokossovsky; and contemporary Russian insignia that retain links to past traditions. This is a rare opportunity to see genuine relics from the collection of the Museums of the Moscow Kremlin and to immerse yourself in history through the lives of the decorated – from commanders to labor heroes.
