About exhibition

Everyone is invited to the personal jubilee painting exhibition of I. N. Khegay, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the artist's birth. Visitors will see the master's works from the collections of the Belgorod Art Museum. I. N. Khegay was born on September 20, 1930 in the village of Shkotovo, Primorsky Krai. After finishing school in 1948 he enrolled in the Alma-Ata Theatrical and Art College specializing in painting, where he studied for two years; in 1950 I. N. Khegay began studying in an art studio under Professor V. A. Eyfert. In 1967 I. N. Khegay was accepted as a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. From 1979 he lived and worked in Stary Oskol, Belgorod Oblast. I. N. Khegay was a master of easel painting, working in the genres of portrait, landscape and narrative-thematic painting.
