Exhibition "Time Has Chosen Us"

2025 has been declared by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, as the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland. In honor of this, the museum staff invite visitors to the exhibition "Time Has Chosen Us." Visitors to the new permanent military-patriotic exhibition will be able to view materials that illuminate both the chronology of military actions and the heroism and valor of soldiers and officers, among them Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolai Malyshev and Heroes of the Russian Federation Nikolai Dzhordzhadze, Dmitry Razumovsky, Alexander Shishkov, Vadim Epifanov and many others. In addition to items from the museum's collection, the exhibition will feature unique documents and photographs from the State Archive of Contemporary History and from the family archives of Ulyanovsk servicemen. Important exhibits will include samples of military unit insignia, elements of uniforms and protective equipment that have been significantly improved over the past 40 years, as well as everyday items from front-line life. The displays are supplemented by full-scale models of small arms and other objects.
