Exhibition "Memories"
About exhibition
In the museum's theatrical salon an exhibition by young artist Diana Mamitova, a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, has opened. With her individual style and outlook, Mamitova has harmoniously integrated into the cultural landscape of Ossetia. The exhibition is also timed to coincide with International Museum Day. It features works in the genres of narrative painting and landscape. The works are of great interest in terms of coloristic and compositional solutions. They are imbued with a romantic contemplation of the surrounding world, lyricism, and spiritual depth. Diana Maratovna Mamitova was born in Vladikavkaz on November 6, 1997. At the age of eight she entered art school; at fifteen she was admitted to the Vladikavkaz Art College named after A. Dzhanaev, faculty of painting; in 2017 she enrolled in the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V. Surikov. She has exhibited at the AZ Gallery and in the halls of the New Tretyakov Gallery, and in 2024 received a State Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, awarded by the Union of Artists of Russia.
