Exhibition "Warrior Brotherhood"
About exhibition
The exhibition is dedicated to the soldiers of the Kalachinsk area who have always remained true to their oath. It presents the history of residents of the Kalachinsk District: participants in local wars, military conflicts, and the special military operation; members of the military community, veterans of the Airborne Forces, and veterans of the Border Troops of the Russian Federation. The exhibition hall features a model of Afghanistan's natural mountainous landscape and a three-dimensional model of the Friendship Bridge. On display are photographs, documents, objects, and personal belongings of participants in combat operations in Afghanistan, Chechnya, and the special military operation. Visitors can learn how many suspension lines a parachute has, what can prevent a parachute canopy from opening, and take a closer look at the construction of a parachute system. The exhibition also presents border guard uniform items and tells the stories of border service veterans living in the Kalachinsk District — which may be a defining experience for some. The exhibition is open Tuesday–Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00. Duration: 45 minutes.
