Exhibition "Military Art Toys"

About exhibition

The exhibits will introduce visitors to the unusual field of artistic creativity known as military toys. The works were created by professional artists renowned worldwide as well as by amateur craftsmen. The miniature figures provide an impression of the uniforms and equipment from the heroic era of the Patriotic War of 1812. Various materials were used in their creation — paper, wood, metal, and clay. You will see works by the artist and collector P. F. Kosmolinsky, amateur artist Colonel (ret.) V. A. Evdokimov, a collection of nutcrackers by R. I. Berkutov, toy soldiers by I. P. Vyuev, and much more. For adult visitors the exhibition will be a wonderful opportunity to return to childhood, and for young people and children — to learn more about the heroic pages of history.
