About exhibition

At the exhibition archival photographs and documents of war participants and home-front workers are displayed — both residents of Dzheltulaksky (now Tyndinsky) district and the settlement of Tyndinsky, as well as BAM (Baikal–Amur Mainline) builders or their relatives who arrived to the BAM in the postwar period. Here you can see the museum's collection of combat awards, mock-ups or fragments of ammunition, and a copy of the Victory Banner. The exhibition reflects not only the major battles of the Great Patriotic War, but also the stories of soldiers' fates — little-known yet no less heroic.
