Exhibition "Visiting the Tatars"
About exhibition
The exhibition reflects the traditional folk culture, customs and daily life of the Tatar people based on the collection of the Elabuga State Museum-Reserve. You will see sets of Tatar national women's costumes, everyday and festive ensembles, household items, clothing elements, tableware, musical instruments, examples of decorative and applied arts, pages of the Quran, and 55 paintings and graphic works of fine art by 27 authors, created as a result of 20 international art symposia on contemporary art in Elabuga. A distinctive feature of the exhibition is its multimedia content: video clips and electronic photo frames with educational information. Via QR codes you can find recipes for national dishes, and with the help of special information stands you can learn at least 20 words in the Tatar language.
